Maddy was adopted 6/3/10!
Maddy – 2 year old aussie mix, spayed, UTD on shots, HW negative, crate trained, housebroken. Maddy is a sweet little 26 lb aussie mix who was picked up as a stray. We think someone must have dumped her because she is not a dog that ever wanders away from her foster parents side. She is extremely fond of playing with toys and is quite cute in her antics. Maddy also loves to play with other dogs. It is unknown how she is with cats and small children. Maddy has a beautiful silky coat and the pictures do not do her justice. She is a delightful little girl who would love to have a family of her own.

Rossi was adopted 6/20/10!
Rossi – 18 month old red tri male – neutered, UTD on shots, HW negative, housebroken, crate trained. Rossi lives to play with toys and other dogs. He is just as happy being cuddled and petted. Rossi is learning how to walk nicely on lead and he will need a secure yard since he was found as a stray.  He does listen very well and seems to enjoy the interaction with family members when they are training him. Rossi has lots of energy and will need an active home that would include him in their activities. He is OK with the inside cats but does show interest in them and would probably be better in a home without cats. Rossi is quite the clown and keeps his foster family entertained with his antics.

Ava was adopted 6/4/10!

Ava – 18 month old red tri female – spayed, UTD on shots, HW negative, housebroken, crate trained.  Ava is a very social girl who loves playing with other dogs.  She also enjoys being cuddled and especially loves to give kisses to her foster family.  She is learning how to walk nicely on lead and enjoys playing with toys.  Ava is a typical aussie with lots of energy and was turned over to rescue because she chased cattle and killed a rooster (although her foster mom insists the rooster must have been asking for it!).  She is OK with the inside cats but does show interest in them and would probably be better in a home without cats.  Ava’s beautiful coat is a little sunburned right now, but with a little attention and some good nutrition we think she will be a real beauty in no time.

Goldie was adopted 8/5/10!

Goldie has moved on to a different rescue in IL.   She is still looking for that perfect home.  Goldie, 2 old red merle, spayed, UTD on shots, HW negative, microchipped, crate trained, housebroken. It is quite possible with markings that she could be mixed with a spaniel.  Goldie is a typical enthusiastic, energetic velcro aussie. She is reserved at first with people she doesn’t know but a little sweet talk and a treat quickly wins her over. She is very quiet and good in her crate. She loves other dogs but sometimes can play a little rough – she is OK with dog savvy cats, but likes to chase them. Goldie loves to run outside and keep busy but she also settles down nicely once inside and her favorite place to nap is laying next to her foster mom. She waits at the door before going outside and walks well on leash. Goldie is a little thin right now but her optimum weight would be around 40 lbs.

Here is Geo’s family. The furry ones that bark anyway. We’ve had Geo for 6 yrs now and he is now 8 yrs old. But he and Cruiser haven’t slowed down much. Geo is currently being treated for an infection in his spine. Danged if he hasn’t figured out every one of our ploys to get him to take his pills. Sparky, his red merle brother, is now in remission from pemphigus foliacious. To catch all 4 laying down together at the sAme time was amazing. Geo is still “my boy”.

Chloe was adopted 6/3/10!

Chloe – 1 year old spayed, housebroken, microchipped, UTD on shots, HW negative female. She is an alpha dog. She can be very dominant with other dogs and is into Aussie slams. She would be the happiest as an only dog. She is sweet and loyal and eager to please her master. She knows sit, lay down, and stays when she feels like it. Chloe will not dart out of doors and has a hard time waiting. She is crate trained and never had a potty accident, she weighs 41 lbs. She is great on a leash and loves walks!!! She is very vocal and so if there are people walking by she will have something to say to them. Chloe is used to being in a large fenced yard. She is trained to not get on furniture but would like to get on furniture it’s just never been allowed. She loves to be cuddled and loved. It is important to note that Chloe is very agile. She would be a wonderful agility dog. However, this means she jumps a lot. She can jump as high as my head and I am 5’9.
