Rascal was adopted 2/23/10!
Rascal is an attention loving 1 year old that is up to date on his shots, neutered and heartworm negative. He loves to run and jump (in fact he’s a fence jumper, but stays around the yard, so he needs a 6 foot fence) and shows some interest in toys but soon finds something else to investigate. Rascal was formerly an outside dog and has certainly taken to having a warm place to sleep. Actually, he prefers to find someone at his foster home to sleep with! Rascal is OK with cats and likes car rides. He’s also a little heavy at 71 lbs, but we are working on that! Because of Rascal’s size, it is hard to remember how young he is and how much he has to learn. Rascal needs someone that will help him with house manners and training. We are betting that Rascal’s zest for life might be contagious!

this dog is so beautiful! I was wondering about adopting him? You say he needs a 6 foot fence.. Well I live out in the country and dont have a fence at all. I do have another dog, her name is Jodie she is an australian cattle dog. Does rascal listen good?
Sabrina, our first concern is Rascal’s safety. Just because someone lives in the country does not mean a dog will be safe. At the same time, just because you live in the country without a fence will not exclude you from adopting a dog from us. If you are interested in Rascal, please fill out an application and someone will contact you after it is processed.
Thank you for your interest and YES Rascal is beautiful!
