Austi was adopted 2/8/10!
Austi, 12 year old neutered red merle male, UTD on shots, HW negative, microchipped, housebroken, crate trained. Poor Austi was turned into animal control because his owners didn’t want him anymore – he’s old and they told the officer that they wanted a new puppy for their kids to play with. Seems that Austi tires out too soon to keep up with their 9 year old boys. Austi has taken this cruel turn in his life with the classic acceptance that we find so many times in our wonderful dogs – he is making himself at home with his foster family. Austi is a very low maintenance boy who doesn’t ask for much – he is quiet and sedate as an elderly gentleman should be!!
This is just WRONG! I hope those boys turn in their parents when they are too old to play with them. People like this do not deserve a puppy or any other living thing. Go AUSTI we will find you a very good home.

How is he around cat’s. We have 3 of them.
I am not sure Glenn. There may be some documentation from his former family but usually that would be written in Austi’s bio. I would be surprised with his personality if cats would be a problem. Have you filled out an application? Once it is processed we can get you in touch with his foster parents. They know Austi the best.
