Dee was adopted 7/13/2/10!
Dee, 3 year old red merle female, UTD on shots, HW negative, microchipped, crate trained. This totally beautiful girl is a sweetheart. She loves to play with other dogs and will also engage in a game of tag with her foster mom. Dee was purchased off Craigslist from a backyard breeder because she didn’t get pregnant when they bred her. How lucky for Dee!!! You would never know that she had spent her entire life in a kennel run – she absolutely loves being a house pet. Dee was wonderful for her bath and trim and even let us cut her toenails without a fuss. She is not without faults though – she is fascinated with kitchen counters and will “surf” them any chance she gets. All in all, Dee is a delightful dog and will become even more beautiful once her sun bleached coat has time to heal and darken with some TLC.
I am interested in Dee. I showed in AKC obedience trails a number of years ago and would like to get back into the sport. My husband is a retired AKC Tracking judge. We had to put our 15 yr. old fox terrier down in April (our only dog) and we are ready now to get another dog. We got our fox terrier when he was 5 yrs. old from the fox terrier rescue and had him for 10 years. We do have two inside cats so we would have to know if Dee is good with cats. We do not have young children but could have grand children someday so would want to know if Dee is good with kids?
