Phoebe was adopted 7/12/10!
Phoebe, 1 year old blue merle spayed female, UTD on shots, HW negative, cratetrained, housebroken, microchipped. Phoebe spent the first 10 months of her life isolated, living in an outside pen. She had the unfortunate karma of being born to a mother who was owned by a backyard breeder. Her early isolation has left her very shy of people. Phoebe’s foster mom takes her for walks everyday in her busy neighborhood and Phoebe is slowly learning that people are good. She is reluctant to let people pet her at first, but within a moment or so, she really seems to enjoy the interaction and relaxes. Phoebe is totally wonderful around other dogs, but small children make her nervous so we would like to find a childless home with at least one other dog.
