We had my daughter’s family and my step-son and family, both with dogs, for Christmas. Butchie is like Cookie’s big brother. She follows him around. Best of friends. Bandit is my daughter’s rescue(New York) Had to muzzle Cookie for the first night, after that she had a big time playing with her. She is still very timid around strangers. My husband came home for 2 weeks at Thanksgiving and 2 weeks at Christmas. Cookie has finally accepted him enough to let him take her potty without me along. She has come a long way from the frightened little girl who wouldn’t wag her tail. Every time we go for a walk, someone will ask “what kind of dog is she ?”, because she is so beautiful. I love her lots and she is devoted to me, never letting me out of sight. She gets along well with the kitties, only chasing them sometimes. Balls are her favorite toys, especially the ones that squeak. Can catch them in the air 95% of times thrown. I’ve been feeding Natural Balance and she seems to like it. Have added a probiotic to her feed. Her coat is very soft and glossy. Quite a striking young dog.
