A little over two years ago, we adopted Dolly a sweet little black/white mini aussie. She is my baby!
In the beginning, Dolly had submissive peeing issues when you reached down for her and would always go hide when anyone came to the house to visit. With some patience and Foster, our older aussie, teaching her how to be a fun loving dog she is now a real sweetheart. She has come such a long way! Sunday, several of our friends came over with their dogs to head down to the Soulard Dog parade. In our house we had Dolly, my other Aussie Foster, Fred an Aussie from St. Charles, two other aussies visiting from Kirkwood, a sweet boxer named Peyton, a bichon named Grace and all their people. Dolly stayed downstairs right in the middle of all the dogs and people. She played and kissed and was a great little hostess. She and Foster put on their mardi gras regalia and we all headed out. Here are a couple of pictures–just of Foster and Dolly for now but I thought you might want to see. Dolly is very, very happy and very much loved–as she lays here beside me on the bed snoozing away. What a life!
Thanks…Mary Cox and Bob Grace
