Here is Geo’s family. The furry ones that bark anyway. We’ve had Geo for 6 yrs now and he is now 8 yrs old. But he and Cruiser haven’t slowed down much. Geo is currently being treated for an infection in his spine. Danged if he hasn’t figured out every one of our ploys to get him to take his pills. Sparky, his red merle brother, is now in remission from pemphigus foliacious. To catch all 4 laying down together at the sAme time was amazing. Geo is still “my boy”.
2011….Geo & Cruiser turn 9! Geo has had a rough year. First the spinal infection, then he was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. In September dental surgery and then he had a tumor in his eye. Other than the 4 pills he gets twice a day, you’d never know anything was wrong. He still loves to be outside. I just can’t let him chase balls any more. We’ve become good friends with several of the specialists at Mission Med Vet. Mom has started to foster Aussies again. We’re just one big happy Aussie family!
That is good to hear Marilyn. At some time, we are just happy for every day we have left with them. Bonus time! Hope you and the dogs have a great spring!
