Hey Kay, Becky and family,
Just wanted to check in and offer an update on Sheba, now named Sydney
(after the Australian city). We are approaching a week together and
things could not be going any smoother. Her sutures look great and we
have started taking walks at the park–no running for another week, I
remember!

I had to leave her home alone for the first time on Friday for an 8
hour evening shift at work. I didn’t restrict her to a room or crate
her or anything, just to see how she would do. I scattered her toys
around and gave her a big bone, hoping it would curb any chewing on
household items. When I returned home around midnight, she was sound
asleep on her bed–no pee or poo in the house, nothing chewed up or
destroyed, nothing! I could not believe it! She is amazing!

I have attached a few photos–I especially like the one of Sydney with
Talia, who has just fallen head over heels for her! Talia is a recluse
who never pays any dogs attention, but something about Sydney has just
stolen her heart. It’s so funny to watch!

Anyway, thank you again for bringing this puppy into my life. If I
was adored her any greater, I think my heart would just explode!

Cheers and best wishes,
Kika
